New Security for Online Banking

Mar 20, 2026

**Tips to help with logging in to Online Banking, if you are experiencing some difficulties with the new multi-factor authentifications sign-on.

1) For the first log in, do not use the mobile app.  Log in to the website through internet on your smart phone or desktop.
2) Do not use saved User IDs and passwords.   Type your User ID and password in manually. Reminder:  the user ID is no longer your account number.
3) If the option shows an incorrect phone number, connect with our call center to update your phone number.

The protection of your information is very important to us.  We are pleased to announce an added login security feature that helps guard your online information by adding another layer of identity verification to online financial interactions. The new security feature will be effective April 7, 2026.

How does the new security feature work?

When logging into online banking on your computer, you will receive a message (text or voice) on your phone with a 6-digit code.  You will be asked to enter this code to complete the login process on your phone or computer.  This feature takes the place of answering security questions when logging into online banking.

What do I need to do prior to April 7th?

Please update your phone numbers in your Online Banking profile or contact us at 432-688-7300 and update your cell phone or direct phone number.

Important! You will not be able to access online banking if we do not have your updated contact information.
